In this portfolio images have been gathered which center on several aspects of quietude as a form of beauty. The sentiments I am searching for include the emotions that arise from seeing the image of a solitary figure in a large landscape or an object surrounded by emptiness so that an observer may fill the space. I am also searching for a dimension that may arise through the tonality of mists
and similar transforming abstractions, a dimension which hints at quiet mystery.

Quietude sometimes takes on it's most beautiful form when a person is seen in meditation, prayer or contemplation. Finally there is a hope that an image of a simple solitary object will give rise to moods of silence and stillness.
