For many years, I have traveled the remote waterways of Assam, India and Mynamar. These waterways interconnect people; provide sustenance and transport, almost untouched by time.

As the boats have taken me along the rivers, I have become slowly aware of the unchanged rhythms of life, aware that these pathways have continuity with beginnings and aware that people's lives and daily tasks take on a memorable beauty which is enhanced by the color of water and the sky.
