When you are arriving in a remote village in Myanmar, as a visitor, you are accompanied by most of the villagers to visit the Abbot of the monastery. It is a wonderful parade and a happy, gracious Abbot greets you. Most of these images came from those small wonderful monasteries.

The other images come from a place in Myanmar called Mrauk-U, ancient remains of a temple city, unadorned in its faded colors, a place of great mystical beauty.
